| Serial number 00031 has 4 purpleheart spliced points into a straight grained maple forearm, The wrap area is also purpleheart. The purpleheart butt sleeve is inlayed with 4 imitation ivory spearheads. Those spearheads are inlayed with 4 malachite spearheads. The malachite spearheads are inlayed with 4 more ivory colored inlays. The butt sleeve is separated by imitation ivory rings The butt cap is imitation ivory as is the joint collar. The entire butt section was tapered to customer specifications. It comes with 1 (very stiff) RAVEN tapered hard rock maple shaft that has been modified to a 12.75mm taper for the first 13 inches. To firm up the hit even more cocobolo inserts were installed on both sides of the joint. An exceptionally hard pad was installed between the tip and ferrule to make the hit even harder. |
