| Serial number 00034 is another very ornate cue. It has a highly figured Canadian curly maple forearm that has 4 points of Granadillo with a Granadillo butt sleeve. The points are outlined by three red, yellow and black veneers. In the points is an alternating yellow heart and purpleheart oval inside a larger reversed alternating yellow heart and purpleheart oval. The Granadillo butt sleeve is offset by 2 rings of ivory substitute. Inside those rings are brass rings. Inside the brass rings is a stitch ring of alternating maple and cocobolo. The butt sleeve has 2 yellow heart ovals, on opposite sides, with purpleheart diamonds inside them. It also features 2 evenly spaced slices of purpleheart. Each is sandwiched between 2 thinner slices of yellow heart. The wrap is brown-stacked leather. Matching ring work is included above the wrap and at the joint. The graduated stitch rings contain 60 rectangles of cocobolo and 60 rectangles of maple. The butt cap and joint collar are both ivory substitute. It comes with 1 RAVEN tapered hard rock maple shaft and 1 Matrix laminated shaft. Both shafts have matching ring work. |
