| Serial Number-00072 is completed. This cue is gorgeous in its use of woods. It features 4 points of purpleheart spliced into a Canadian birdseye maple forearm. Each point is outlined with a black, beige (almost golden colored) and green veneer. The butt sleeve is also purpleheart. There is ringwork at the A, B, C, D and E locations. The ring work consists of a green trim ring, a bloodwood ring, an ebony and maple stitch ring followed by the other bloodwood ring and finally the last green trim ring. The lowest three sets of rings use bloodwood that has the normal blood red color to blend better with the purpleheart. The rings at the joint have a slightly brighter red color since they are more stand alone in nature. The butt cap and joint collars are double black linen phenolic. The Irish linen wrap is black with green specks. The inlays, in the points are a Gaboon ebony oval with a pink ivory dot inside it. The inlays in the butt sleeve are a Gaboon ebony oval with a purpleheart oval inside it and then a larger pink ivory dot inside that. It comes with one RAVEN tapered hard rock maple shaft. |
