| Serial number SN-TS086 is complete. This cue is outstanding. It is far more attractive than the pictures can capture. This cue is part of the Tiger Shark series. Click here to see about the series. This cue is made with solid core construction. Click here to see why this cue is different. The butt sleeve is Australian Lacewood. Australian Lacewood has an incredible edge grain pattern. It has been stained to bring out the patterns in the wood and to more closely match the Bocote forearm. The forearm is Mexican Bocote. The ringwork consists of a black trim ring, an ebony ring with 24 maple stitches in it, followed by the last black ring. The butt cap is natural linen Phenolic. Natural linen is lighter after it is freshly cut or sanded. The joint is Elk antler with black phenolic collars and matching ringwork on both sides of the joint.
The sharks and the Gaboon Ebony backgrounds are all inlayed. The 2 Tiger Shark inlays in the butt sleeve are made of Elk Antler. No Elk were harmed for the making of the cue. The Antler was shed. The 2 Tiger Shark inlays in the forearm are made from figured Bubinga. The Tiger Shark inlays are engraved with detail markings. It comes with 1 RAVEN tapered hard rock maple shaft and 1 RAVEN tapered Old Growth maple shaft. The ferrules are capped Buckhorn. The medium brown colored wrap is leather with a 'baby gator' texture. The butt cap also has the last name Duggan engraved in a Gothic font. The rubber bumper is a screw in type. |
