We do not advocate artificially increasing or decreasing the weight of a cue. Yes it can be done and we have done it, but it changes the harmonic balance of the cue when it is done. Shaft diameter can be decreased. The shaft taper can be changed. The shaft length can be shortened. The pad and tip (Le Pro, Triangle or Elkmaster are standard) can all be changed. The wrap (if there is one) can be changed as well. If the wrap is Irish linen there is no additional charge. There is a charge for leather wraps, changing the ferrule material and for exotic and expensive tips. While there is no additional charge for most of these changes, but they do take a little time.
